Alleluia – It’s an Easter Giveaway
One hymn that speaks to my soul is “All Creatures of our God and King.” I love the flowing movement of the music, the simple majesty of the words, and most of all, I love the Alleluia refrain. If you don’t know this beautiful tune, listen here. In honor of this tune and the Easter holiday, I created an inspirational canvas for you!
I’ve had this canvas in my bedroom for months. I’ve painted it 3-4 times, and I finally figured out what to do – it needed a joyous message! So, last night we painted a hymn to honor Jesus Christ, who we celebrate at Easter. My painting talent is small, but if I work to develop that talent, I’ll improve. Isn’t that the case with everything about our personalities? We grow, improve, and become better each day through our own work and with the help of the Atonement of Jesus Christ.
So, one lucky reader will win my custom art piece. It’s a colorful and simple reminder to rejoice at Easter!
Also, let me explain my reasoning for the soft white lettering: I wanted the message to be soft, to be there upon a dedicated look. The words don’t jump off the canvas, they have to be sought out to be read – just like we have to diligently seek to grow our testimony of Jesus Christ. We have to look for His blessings and seek out His teachings with a purposeful heart. Therefore, the soft words of the hymn have to be sought out on the canvas. In the right light they are easily visible, but they are always there, waiting for you to read them. Just like the Savior is always there, waiting for us to reach out to Him.
See the pictures below and then enter the giveaway at the end of the page. Happy Easter!
